We’ve been having a productive time in the garden at our Oaksey learning centre where our alternative provision students have been practicing their green-fingered skills by planting a wide range of seeds, including radish, carrots, garlic, rosemary, spring onions, small onions, rhubarb and roses.
A fantastic effort means these are all flourishing. After Easter we will be planting sunflowers, with the students measuring these each week and keeping a personalised chart.
Meanwhile, we’re pleased to introduce you to our new security team (pictured below). Headed up by Wurzel, they’re ensuring that the pesky birds stay away from all our wonderful produce.
