Experienced Teachers Wanted
Our successful Alternative Provision agency currently operats from 4 sites in Wiltshire, and is now expanding due to demand. Our students come from a variety of different backgrounds and experiences, but all share a desire to find support and an opportunity to learn.
If you have a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience and believe that you can help a vulnerable young person engage in education and make a positive difference to their lives, then we are keen to talk with you.
We are looking for qualified teachers – KS2 to KS4 – with either current or recent teaching experience, to work as freelance tutors for our Alternative Provision and Private Tuition business.
We are a friendly group of professionals with an enthusiastic team spirit. We welcome applications from tutors who love to inspire and engage students, helping them to boost learning skills and build confidence – providing real pathways to the future potential our young people deserve.
Our core subjects are English, Maths and Science, but we also offer Humanities, RSE and Functional Skills. From September, we will be pleased to offer PE in our new centre. We are also keen to welcome those with a SEND or SEMH background.
If you are interested in working in the evenings, we also run private tuition classes in some of our venues. These mainly focus on English and Maths as exam preparation and involve small groups of students.
Our tutors benefit from:
- Competitive hourly rate
- Flexible working hours – full-time, part-time, freelance
- Small, friendly and supportive working environment
- Creative and practical approach to teaching and learning
- Provision of Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
- Robust safeguarding systems with supportive DDSL and DSL to liaise with relevant agencies
- Continual professional development opportunities
